Crayon Quiz Night The Grand Appeal

We are going to hold a charity quiz night! We want to get local businesses together for a fun social evening and raise money for Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal; a charity that means a lot to us. Deadline for booking is Friday 16th August! We are looking for a team of 6 from each company and we have 18 tables to fill. We hope you can make it!!!
Crayon have joined in partnership with ‘The Grand Appeal’ charity and their ‘Play 4 All’ initiative. They have joined with 25 companies across the UK to raise £1,000 each to enable to fund a ‘Sensory Play Practitioner’ for 1 year at Bristol Children’s Hospital. Every day, the sensory play practitioners bring relief and rehabilitation into the challenging lives of young patients and this will ensure this programme continues over the next year.
As most of you already know, our daughter Sophie passed away in December 2017. In her memory we have set up a non-profit organisation called Sophie’s Smiles in order to raise money for a few charities that helped us along our journey. Sophie spent most of her life at Bristol Children’s Hospital and had access to the play specialists there. We were unable to attend the baby groups back in Plymouth and her day to day care was very medically focused. So the light relief for Sophie and for us as parents was welcomed. We hope to raise this money to give something back to the Grand Appeal, to enable other families to have access to this and make happy memories at such an otherwise difficult time.
