Drakes Jewellers Officially Opens

The highly anticipated jewellery store in Drake Circus Shopping Centre, Plymouth, was unveiled to a selection of guests this week. Crayon was appointed to design the emporium at the end of 2013, which took the place of 4 units on the first floor. The frontage features double height glazing, with back-lit panels for graphics at high level. A curved glass shop window to the far side displays wedding jewellery. The entrance plays upon the ‘D’ shape, which appears throughout the store in a variety of forms. Customers are greeted by a unique cascading water feature and a stunning chandelier above. Internally, the store is divided into multi-branded goods and a diamond / ring lounge.
