Stage: Feasibility to Building Regulations

One of our most enjoyable projects, where the clients’ enthusiasm to create their dream propelled the whole scheme forward. The owners, Deanna and Mike, had a host of fantastic ideas for their coffee shop and bistro having imagined what it would include for some time. Some concept designs were completed, with an emphasis on natural materials, exposed electrical fittings and a pared-down style. Crayon was later able to obtain landlord, planning and advertisement consent to convert the former betting shop. Crayon also worked up more detailed drawings for the fit-out stage, and liaised with Building Control regarding fire escape routes, ventilation and heat loss.

We’re so happy to see Finla doing exceptionally well; as their food and coffee is excellent!
