Progress photos of a house refurbishment in Looe, Cornwall. The semi-detached property dates from the early twentieth century. It is not listed but does fall within the town conservation area.  Crayon secured planning permission for the works including; adding a front terrace with balustrading, removal of a chimney breast to create an open plan kitchen/ dining area, addition of French doors to the front facade & additional en-suites.  After preparing the technical drawings & building regulations application, Crayon have been acting as contract administrators on site. Beautiful autumn weather to visit a completed project in Downderry, Cornwall. The property was completely refurbished from top to bottom, with a new side extension and south facing balconies. The clients opted for an open plan ground floor, which feels really light and spacious.  Crayon prepared some feasibility options for various design layouts, secured planning permission and provided technical drawings for building regulations.  We’re really happy with the finished home, and this is a really nice example of how a Victorian house can be modernised.  #crayonarchitects #plymoutharchitects #cornwall #architecture #downderry #coastalproperty#familyhome #architectdevon #renovationproject #seaview
